 How to run WhatsApp account on four devices simultaneously

The new feature allows users to use their WhatsApp accounts on up to four devices simultaneously.

For so long, a WhatsApp account could only be used on one smartphone at a time.  Albeit the chance to utilize the PC was presented, the cell phone must be associated with the Internet.  WhatsApp changed the rules.

 The new feature allows users to use their WhatsApp accounts on up to four devices simultaneously.  The primary smartphone does not need to be connected to the Internet, even if the charge is off, there is no problem.

 For those who use WhatsApp on desktop computers or multiple smartphones, the feature is quite useful.  However, it is not available to all users at once, multi-device support will be available in phases.  Other than that it is still in the experimental stage (beta version).

There were hints of WhatsApp use on the first multiple devices last July.  After much experimentation, it is now open to users.

 It's good to remember that you can't use WhatsApp account on multiple smartphones at once.  In addition to a smartphone, the account can be added to the website, desktop or Facebook portal device.

1: First update to the latest version of WhatsApp.

2: Now open WhatsApp on the smartphone and select 'Linked Devices' by tapping the three dotted menu button in the upper right corner.

3: Then select 'Join Beta' from the 'Multi-Device Beta' option.  You can read the beta version of the Terms of Use on the previous page.

4: When done, come back to the linked device.  Then tap on the 'Link a Device' button.

5: Second, you will be asked to scan the QR code displayed on the device on which you want to use your WhatsApp account.  For example, if you go to web.whatsapp.com, you will see the QR code, which needs to be scanned from your primary smartphone.

Once connected, the facility of exchanging messages from the second device will be available on WhatsApp.  Previously exchanged messages can also be viewed on the newly connected device.
